This is a unidisciplinary event organised by the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP). The course has been funded by the HSCP Office, HSE.
As such, places are available to physiotherapists in the publicly funded healthcare service only.
Background:
Physiotherapists frequently work with complex biopsychosocial presentations where communication and psychological insight are critical. This workshop introduces practical skills blending physiotherapy with applied psychology, positive psychology and coaching principles. It aims to enhance meaningful clinical conversations, foster patient agency and support physiotherapists in addressing multidimensional aspects of health, pain and wellbeing. By equipping clinicians with tools for cognitive reframing, strengths-based engagement and emotional regulation, the course promotes better patient outcomes and clinician resilience.
